a bridge

Today’s run was difficult. I am so lucky to have people who are patient and supportive. At one of the hardest moments, we’re I began to think 18k was a terrible idea, the path opened up to a pristine, icy, river. The quaint little footbridge across the way just added to it. I am so lucky to live in a place where we have these beautiful paths open to us.

Perseverance paid off too. I finished 18 and it didn’t seem to take as long to recover. We shall see tomorrow if that really was the case.
