Deep Thought…

…With Alyson Handy. I don’t know JACK.

1. If through some break in the Space/ Time continuum my younger me got to meet my older me, would my younger me be happy with the person I’ve become?

  1. i don’t know the answer to that, but i bet your older you would be glad you weren’t the younger you still. maybe.

i know i’m glad i’m not the younger me. younger me couldn’t balance a checkbook, and made really bad decisions. the older me can almost balance a checkbook, and only makes bad decisions in which i can live with the consequences. mostly because i have no choice. heh.

  2. What an interesting question. I don’t think I’ve ever thought about things in that way before. I am more outward focussed I guess. I look at other people who are like the younger me and wonder if they know what they are in for when they get older.

Oh, and I try — mostly unsuccessfully — to resist the urge to tell them. 😉

  3. I’m with FF–but I think at this point that just maybe I’d be fairly happy with the me I’ve become (just wishing I could change some of the mistakes along the way.)

Karen, your a better person than I–I’ve reached the age and stage where I feel a duty to try to tell them!

ABQ you have a great way to look at it.

Thanks for the reflection question, Alyson!
